Here is a detailed London Real DeFi Academy review.
Cryptocurrency is growing in momentum globally.
Now and then, new coins are created, new exchanges are developed, and financial experts think up new ways to trade them.
Many banks and other establishments have even started integrating them into their financial systems.
We are moving fast toward crypto becoming the standard way of transacting.
But as you and I know, that doesn’t mean trading crypto is an easy thing to do.
Getting started is one thing. Managing the risks involved is another thing. I didn’t mention that cryptocurrency trading is risky? Pardon me.
So let’s face it. You can’t sleep and start dreaming of what to do to trade crypto successfully. An excellent guide is indispensable here.
My use of the phrase “excellent guide” has already suggested that not all DeFi courses deliver on their promises.
But the London Real DeFi Academy is looking promising as some have actually tried it with good results.
Others did so and were less than satisfied.
So you would be wondering, what is it about the London Real DeFi Academy, and does it live up to its claim?
Stay with me, and we will test the course in and out for where it meets up or under-delivers.
As a bonus, we will also look at the best alternative and why you might want to consider it.
Believing you are ready, I’ll lead the way.

Overview of London Real DeFi Academy
On hearing the name, you’ll most likely assume it’s for DeFi training.
London Real DeFi Academy is an online academy recently established by a famous financial scientist, Brian Rose, as a training program for people who need direction on getting started with DeFi.
Brian Rose’s financial journey has led him very deep into the fabric of financial markets, financial systems, and financial instruments.
He has even been a core part of developments that will soon change the world of finance and trading as we know it.
And one thing he has observed from his study of the present financial market and the associated financial instrument is that they are pretty limiting and even prone to corruption
I’m sure you want to know how accurate his observation is.
Okay, this is it. Financial institutions and other regulatory bodies regulate the trade and finance we engage in now.
Then there are the intermediaries, which in most cases are the banks, brokerages, and exchanges that we’ve gotten used to.
Any financial product you use comes to you through these middlemen. These people also handle your transactions.
The whole setup is known as centralized finance, but there are many pain points associated with it.
One is that there is a lack of transparency by these financial institutions, and this provides good cover for the banks and other intermediaries to make unduly high profits at our expense.
You can now see why DeFi (Decentralized Finance) is being hailed as the next big thing in the world of finance. Since it runs independently of any financial intermediary or regulatory body, transactions are as transparent as possible.
Added to that, anyone with knowledge of DeFi can create financial products and sell them to other traders to make money.
And since these transactions run on blockchain networks, you are guaranteed the highest level of security possible.
These facts and more are what fanned Brian Rose’s interest in DeFi so much that he vowed to teach DeFi and the multiple prospects it opens up to as many people as he can
He is keen on being on the front lines, so to speak, fighting for DeFi to take over the world of finance, remove the constraints of centralized finance and bring about financial freedom.
And London Real DeFi Academy is the tool to translate that passion into action.
The London Real DeFi Academy spans four weeks which translates to a module for a week.
All the courses are in video format and feature experts in trading both on stock exchanges and cryptocurrency exchanges.
That’s the story behind how the London Real DeFi Academy was born. The next part of this review takes us to the course outline, and then we take a peek at the content of the courses themselves.
London Real DeFi Academy Course Outline
As I said before, the whole training is divided into four weeks of video lectures.
Each week introduces you to a new course that builds on the previous one to understand the connection between various aspects of the subject.
Without much ado, let’s talk about the courses.
Week 1 – Decoding the DeFi Marketplace History
Everything has a history—a starting point.
So does DeFi. Hence, it only makes sense that the training starts from considering the subject’s roots. Without knowing the basics, any knowledge of DeFi would be incomplete.
What’s the history of DeFi we are talking about?
How it got started and its progress till date.
Of course, DeFi has been around for a very long time now. And because of it, many financial instruments have emerged.
Bitcoin was the first application of it, then Ethereum came up.
Aside from cryptocurrency, many trading processes also emerged as the potential of DeFi started becoming more apparent.
One notable benefit is that more and more individuals could now own more financial digital assets. We call that dislocation of wealth.
Brian Rose will review all of that in this course. But the biggest thing you stand to gain from this course aside from trading effectively is the potential to predict the future of DeFi by understanding its history.
Week 2 Get in the Arena and Start Trading
After learning so much about the nitty-gritty in week one, you will now step into the game proper.
A primary objective of this course is to help you know how to trade, as trading is at the core of every financial system, whether DeFi or otherwise.
You’ll learn how to trade not only in Bitcoin and Ethereum but also in stable coins and altcoins.
Learning how to trade includes knowing the right marketplace to trade-in as well. Expect to learn that too.
In this course, you’ll also learn everything about hot and cold storage systems and wallets and how to secure them.
And oh, before I forget, this course crowns it all with your very first swap across multiple platforms. You heard that right.
Week 3 – DEXs, DApps, Yield Farming, and Complex Instruments
Coming from week two, you dive deeper into the more advanced aspects of DeFi.
DEXs and DApps code for decentralized exchanges and decentralized applications, respectively.
Combining the topics above in this week of learning indicates that you’re now dealing with DeFi standalone.
That makes a good transition from week two, where elements of DeFi and CeFi (centralized exchanges) were taught together.
Week 4 – How to Profit by Trading DeFi & Position your Portfolio for the Future
By the time you finish this module, you will have already become a professional trader.
You don’t want to miss this week because it prepares you for the volatility of the market and unexpected but guaranteed fluctuations, risks, and losses.
To be a progressive trader, you must know how to control your fears because, heck, anything can happen, and sometimes you may even have to start over again.
Other things you’ll be learning include picking the right trades for long-term gain, holding and managing your portfolio of assets and.
You will also receive tips on understanding market phenomena so you can trade wisely.
Bonus Module – How to Trade DeFi for Long-term Gains
This module rounds up the training and features Brian Rose himself.
Here, he shares his personal experience in finance and trading, including how he manages risks and controls his emotions.
He also tells you his positions and predictions for the future based on what he’s seen.
The module is like a master giving his trainees final words before they graduate.
DeFi Academy Price Plans – How Much Does It Cost?
Great, you’ve traveled thousands of miles through this review to get here.
As you and I know, as crucial as specs and features are to the decision-making process, pricing alone can make or break the deal.
DeFi Academy’s pricing is in three categories, standard, premium, and king of DeFi. All of them are one-time payments—no recurring bills.
It’s now time to check them out.
The standard plan costs $2497 and is the least pricey of the three goals, but it still has a lot going on.
The premium plan demands double what you pay for the standard method. It costs $4997.
Kings of DeFi
The kings of DeFi plan offers the most benefits, including but not limited to all the benefits of the standard and premium plans and an additional six modules.
The pricing is an enterprise one which means you will dialogue with the sales team.
Best DeFi Academy Alternative we Recommend
The London Real DeFi Academy isn’t a bad DeFi learning platform by any means, but what if there are alternatives that deserve consideration?
There are plenty of alternatives, but we can’t do a run-down of all of them here. So I’d better select the best of them and give you an overview.
From my personal experience and judging from popular opinion as well, the best alternative to the DeFi Academy is DeFi Pro by Techlead.
The Techlead is Patrick Shyu’s nickname. In case you are just knowing him, he’s an Ex-Facebook and Ex-Google software engineer, and a Youtuber.
He is known for sharing his knowledge as a software guru and internet marketer via his YouTube channel.
Right now, he’s also a blockchain and cryptocurrency expert. He has reaped millions of dollars trading crypto. His Million Token is now a multi-million dollar token, a massive achievement as he single-handedly grew it.
That’s a lot to reckon with.
DeFi Pro by Techlead takes a different approach to style compared to Brian Rose’s course.
An example of that is seen in the fact that Patrick Shyu is just more straightforward, giving you everything you need without being overwhelming.
Brian Rose’s courses, by comparison, can take a little bit more effort to get along with and are not exactly what a total newbie might be able to cope with.
Instead of dividing the coaching into modules, DeFi Pro delivers 15 videos in playlist format that you can watch according to how your schedule dictates.
I have listened to Techlead through his other courses, and I was pleased that he still keeps it simple even when teaching such a complex topic as DeFi.
That’s not all, though. Techlead’s DeFi Pro Course packs a lot of value with it for a far lower price tag than the DeFi Academy by Brian Rose.
The DeFi Academy cheapest plan is approximately 4x higher than the entire six-month pricing of DeFi Pro by Techlead.
DeFi Pro’s total pricing is just $582, and if you click this link, you’ll get it at $120 off for $462.
It’s not as if Brian Rose’s course is more exhaustive. DeFi Pro packs the same wealth of information and other benefits for a far lesser price.
But it is not only in comparison with DeFi Academy that DeFi Pro shines.
I mean, it blows all the other DeFi or crypto courses out of the water too.
It’s either they are too pricey or are hosted by individuals that can’t teach the subject well enough for stark illiterates (in crypto, I mean) to learn well.
Talk about pricing, simplicity of style, a wealth of information, personal attention, and a host of other benefits, and it’s not hard to see that DeFi Pro is easily the best DeFi course out there by a wide margin.
It’s finally time to draw the curtain on this review of the London Real DeFi Academy.
We have gotten everything we need to draw our conclusions on the Academy and left to me; it has crossed the average mark.
You can rely on the wealth of information it packs. Brian Rose has been in this finance and trading game for quite a long time now, and he’s a real wizard.
But the pricing is hefty and might leave many with little air left in their lungs. That tells you that the course is for a few—and that’s even what Brian Rose is after.
If you could get all the information and benefits the DeFi Academy gives you for just one-fifth of its price, you would be happy to pick it instead, wouldn’t you?
Now you understand why the DeFi Pro is easily the best DeFi course out there.
