I’m thinking, why should I blog? Or why do you blog (referring to others)?
Here are my thoughts (This is me thinking out loud):
Imagine the world you can own to yourself through your writing and the positive impacts it will cause to lives at large.
I don’t mean writing just an essay but a content that contains an insight that draws more traffic to your posts and makes them revisiting.
Basically, how often you give it to thought on how your email notifications can wake you up each day to see the numbers of people signing up for your newsletter, is not enough to take the bull by its horn to the reality of starting your blog.
In spite of different video sites for contents, blogging is still efficient and viable means for creating content and building an online business far beyond other means even till this present day.
After giving it some thoughts, here are some of the reasons I came up with.
Let’s get started
Why Should I Blog?
Actions are always driven by reasons so it is in this post.
The truth is blogging has the ability to dig out hidden treasures, some which will come as a surprise while others are known to you and as such need no explanation.
Therefore, the following listed reasons will swift you into the action of starting your blog.

Blogging allows you to reach out to them hereby offering them something valuable before asking for anything in return.
Blogging unlike other marketing platforms and methods creates a chance to your website and blog by enticing audiences that are looking for the kind of information that you are offering.
Hereby, converting them from just a website visitor into a customer, friends, associate, or otherwise.
If you’re anything like me and you would love to inspire the world around you, blogging could be a viable means.
And if you also love business, blogging can help you attract your target audience and also sell to them.
To Improve Your Writing Skills
One of the certain things that are traceable to blogging is the impact it has on your writing skills.
The truth is, the starting might look gritty even like stepping out but as you go deeper into it, you will notice the easier it will become.
Furthermore, the more you write the better you become most especially within the area of creativity to meet up with the standard of what people are searching for.
To Gain New Ideas
In case you are going into blogging because of unemployment or to make money out of it only, then you have just missed the flight.
Blogging goes beyond that, it allows you to acquire several side skills and abilities such as

Also, since learning is non-stop, you are not limited to learning from building and managing a blog only but also gets knowledge about the content you are writing about.
To Deal With Your Fear
Another reason to start a blog is the ability to break out of your fear of being noticed.
To be precise, blogging serves as the right platform to express what is in your mind; the short, big, meaningful story that has lost the stage of expression.
In fact, blogging has also become a tool of help to several people that are fighting with mental health like impostor syndrome.
To Build Your Brand Name
Having a blog with insightful content that is important to your readers will build your online brand.
Hereby giving you an authority in your niche. Being known for the worth of value you dish out by your audience, will rank your brand name and SEO high.
Also, it will increase your converting rate of your blog readers or visitors into a paying customer.
Performing well in blogging relating to your selected niche will prove your skills, abilities and knowledge to the readers, network, employer, and more.
To prove your skills and knowledge, you must be able to move beyond being good to being great on your blog to convince your audience.
In a nutshell, blogging now serves as a resume expressing your knowledge and skills to your audience.
Meet With New Friends
Like every other online platform, blogging connects you to a large community of new people that share like minds like you.
Notably, every blogging features a community, this community does not just exist to welcome but also to help new bloggers through.
Needful to mention that the higher you meet with people of your same interest, the higher your thoughts are refined.
Though learning starts from the class it doesn’t end there, exposing yourself to the blogging community will just be helpful.
These are some of the packages offered by various communities

The truth about blogging is that it can be a milestone towards your dream job that will change your career for life.
Another thing is that for enthusiast writers, picking up blogging as a full-timer can land you and your brand name carved in the cloud.
To Make Income
This is actually what drives many into blogging. Of course, it’s very possible to make an income from it either as a part-time or full-time job.
As a part-time writer, blogging can serve as another source of income hereby supporting what you are earning especially in this current economy.
While as a full-timer, earning a living through your blog is possible but it doesn’t seem easy like you thought.
As a matter of fact, successful full-time bloggers you know or have seen, have given in their best in the past years to achieve all of these.
Basically, to earn money from your blog, you must choose a profitable niche as some are easier and faster to earn money from than others.
Finally, choosing to sell your services via blog requires you to build an audience that aims at people that are likely to hire you.
Document Your Story
This point might seem less important to you to start blogging because of its regard as old-fashioned.
The truth is, the early days of blogging started with the use of blogs to write down day-to-day life happenings.
And the fact remains that blogging to document your life stories is a good way to reflect as you learn from them.
Apparently, giving blogging an opportunity of interest in you looks like a waste of your time.
The truth is, beyond the stated reasons above, blogging in this present time does the work of a business card.
